The Fine Print

There are certain career choices on Earth that I find fascinating. One of my favorites is the person who reads ‘the fine print’ on radio ads. Speaking that fast has to be something you’re born with. As a scientist, I believe these people express proteins usually found in hummingbirds, which speeds up everything they do. They’re probably all around us, but we don’t see them when they’re in motion. To them we look like sloths going about our daily lives ever so slowly. Next time you hear a flutter of footsteps pass you by with no one in sight, you’ve likely encountered the fine print radio announcer. Send them my regards, but do it quickly!
